Not entirely specific to the 1 series, and not too much new info, but it does look like we'll be getting that sweet steering wheel (it only specifically says its available for the 3 series however, I'm just thinking down the road...).

Though the Press Release doesn't give away much, there seems to be quite a few 1 Series performance parts in the images, including a Limited Slip Diff, Cross Drilled Rotors, the F1 Steering wheel, etc. Its all available from the BMW Canada Press Club webpage
