Ahhh, you're talking about ber-LIN, where I'm from, the town is called BER-lin. I live in the United States and we apparently had a tendency to copy European cities/countries/anything for town names, e.i. a boarding town to mine is New Britain. Legend has it the people of my town changed the pronunciation during the second world war, but who really knows or cares.
The green circle decal with a 4 in it on their windshields threw me for a second before I realized the whole different license plate thing. I have yet to take that decal off from the previous owner.
