Dealer invoice is lower for ED and the mark up to MSRP is similar as US invoice vs US MSRP. So they dont get dinged for selling an ED car versus a US delivery car.
Even selling at invoice they arent losing money, they are just making less money (they lose the difference from invoice to MSRP)
Any dealer selling an ED car at US MSRP is making a mark up!!
There are 2 invoice prices ED and US and 2 MSRPS again ED and US
