Car is loud on start up, then quiet in normal driving, but makes a great noise when you're on it. Sounds best in a tunnel or built up area where the sound gets reflected back! Most noticeable difference after the DPs were fitted is the turbo whistle. Can't hear it much with the windows up, but put them down and it sounds like a big rig!  |
Cool, thanks. I definitely am putting dps in. And toyed around with going straight 3" all the way back. But dont want to sound like a honda at all. Saw a vw gti the other day that has a custom 3" straight done by a local muffler shop, and that thing sounds sooo good. Very deep, almost v8-like. Hard to describe really. For now im sticking by the pe, stock mids (no y-pipe though) and dps.
