Crane beach rocks! There is a GREAT diner in the town of Ipswich too. Funny aside:
I was in that diner one morning, before hitting the beach, around 10am last summer. Next to us was a mother and 2 kids at a table. This place is a diner, packed full of breakfast crowd, lots of people coming in and out. So while eating, one of the children, a little boy, maybe 4 or 5 yrs old, drops a piece of pancake on the floor from his plate. Mom looks at him and says... and I shit you not... "5 second rule..." and so the kid picks the piece off the floor and eats it. They continue eating like nothing happened. Myself and the girl I was with are horribly appalled and looking at each other with mouths open. I'll never forget it.
