It is better to buy your gas at Esso anyway. Haven't you noticed that at AAFES the pumps say: "SuperPlus 98
may contain up to 5% ethanol" while at Esso SuperPlus comtains NO ethanol. NONE.
I have heard this is bc the fuel we get onbase is set aside by Esso for US forces... it comes to Germany differently than the gas that is for normal German Esso station. In short... I think we get the left over scraps of fuels (in the delivery system) - while the Germans get the real deal 98 SuperPlus.
Also... at Esso they have better filters on their pumps - this is the mann reasons why I always tank at Esso.
