FDM, we don't get the same gas as on base. On base you either have the option of E5 (Super/Superplus 95/98 octane) or E10 95 Octane. Also if you notice, alot of the Esso stations around military installations sell you the same crap.
Some stations that are decently away from the base have a good probability of having a Sp pump with E-less Superplus.
I have to drive about 10-15 minutes to Weiden from Vilseck so I can get "clean" SuperPlus without any ethanol in it. If you plan to be in an area, check on all the stations in the area and see if you can find out what they have/sell. Before I put any "E" gas in my car, I will pay in Euros to get something without "E" in it.
