I would not worry too much about paint. Just use a repertable repair shop and they will take good care of you. As far as genuine paint is concerned BMW usually doesnt have their own paint shops anymore so they hire out for those services. They will either use 3M, BASF, Sherwin Williams or PPG. All of these manufacturers have the paint codes and can replicate paint exactly.
