For winter you want 7j x 17" setup. 205/50R17's all around.
The reason is you want the narrowest and tallest tires to tackle the snow. Skinny tires give the tire more PSI (pounds per square inch) of pressure - bitting into the snow/ice.
You don't want eight inch wide wheels bc this will change the tire patch foot print - for the worse for a winter setup. You want the narrowest wheels, so that is sevens.
