Yikes - I would run from that, quickly. Hard to tell from the video exactly what is wrong but I agree it sounds off. These cars have such great potential to lead long, beautiful lives; such a shame to see them neglected. I may pay $6k for something like that if I had time for a project, but that is by no means worth what they are asking.
