I personally dont like the idea. If I bought say a 135i with the M sports pack and it came with some M badging from the factory I dont know that I would bother to remove them though... But I certainly wouldnt add any myself.
I have always thought (when I finally get my BMW) of getting some of my more artistic friends to help me design my own "M" badge. Im sure I come up with some name for my project and maybe design a small logo of my own based on that.
