ncutinelli - that thing you circle in your picture is in fact the PS fluid resivior.
In the link I postes it shows some sort of retriangluar plastic cover. I have never seen that before.
Why not just use a flash light and poke around under your hood some? Can you see that PS resivior hanging and flopping around? :")
Btw... on my 135i the PS res is located behind the drivers headlight area. This would be covered up by your intake/filter.
