Just want to warn anyone considering to get a DIY Alarm kit.
For my 2008 128i, I purchased mine from Tisher/getbmwparts.com ( great service and fast delivery).
However, perhaps due to the latest BMW software for 128i, the Siren in the kit part# 65759124581 was not recognized!
Instead an e90 Sedan siren part #65756948392 was requested by the BMW computers!! I saw the computer readout my self.
I spent a week going back and forth with the dealership to activate my existing alarm kit. Ended up paying extra for the e90 Siren.
After that it was pogrammed correctly, works great.
Call your dealer/installer before you purchase and consult recent retrofit cases.
