that sounds more like it, mine takes a good 10 minutes to warm up too, I wont beat on the car at all until it's warmed up
water = almost instant
oil = 10 minutes

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
