They told me they had put it what BMW suggested, that which comes up into the computer automatically which was 10w-60. Castrol TWS Motorsport.
I was put through to parts but before confirming, I wanted to check back to see if this was correct.
I am now a little worried that I have The "wrong" stuff.
Can someone else (probably UK based), confirm what they had put in?
Is there a big difference between US and Europe?
I'm now worried they could have out the wrong diff/trans oils in too.
I phoned up a second time to confirm and spoke to someone else, they confirmed what the first tech said and they service manager overheard the conversation and also confirmed they had put the 10w-60 I'm and that this was correct.
Any help/advice much appreciated!

^^they used the wrong oil. A lot of dealers seem to "think" since its a M it should take M (TWS) oil. But the 1M does NOT!
Your car does not use TWS 10w60 but the same oil as a 135i uses: 0w40, 0w30 or 5w30 LL-4 full synthetic oil from BMW.
I would just change your oil.
