I recently installed a Recaro ProSport Seat and used the tether anchor that you mention. Using this anchor point is a must for front facing car seats given that the lower LATCH anchors wont prevent the forward movement of the top part of the Car Seat.
The black Recaro ProSport looks good in the car by the way....
