How about getting a cheap civic or corrola for the $1000 and parking the bimmer on snowy days?
Just because we are doing the right thing doesn't mean the next guy is. On LI one of two things happens when it snows; people either drive at 12 mph because they are scared or they drive at 90 mph because they want to beat the flakes home. And where am I? Usually stuck behind the guy going 12 and in front of the yahoo going 90. I would rather have a beater get crushed than the 1er.
