Maybe one thing we could look into is that ADAC just built a new drivers test center ( Fahrsicherheitszentrum) near Geiselwind (on the A3 just before the A3 and A7 crossing). Actually it is in Schluesselfeld. They have an all day (9am to 5pm) Intensive Course for only 145 euros IF you are a member. Non member price is 185 euros. I have always wanted to to one. You drive your own car though. They have aqua training and accident avoidence courses.
They also have a Perfection Training course (I think once your go to the Intensive) program. That course runs 195/235 euros.

I think the net closest center is North of Frankfurt or even at Nurburgring itself. Well... its down the street from the track there.

I would be down for this. I would be down for any drivers training that i can do in my own car. I dont think im ready for racing school or anything, but those adac car control clinics look right up my alley. maybe this discussion deserves its own thread?
