A few months back i upgraded to OE 330i front discs and caliper carriers and swapped to ferrodo DS performance street legal pads all round.
Brakes are great on track, no issues. Only "complaint" is that those Ferrodos leave behind some material on the discs after a few sessions. Once cooled, the brake pedal is really low and gets a bit scary, 15 minutes of street driving and the material is gone and brakes are fine.
So far i am very pleased and will be testing other pad combinations, i may get some Endless track pads and use ATE ceramic pads for the street. If things go well, i may even upgrade to some nice fat 335i front discs + carriers, 2-piece OE Z4 3.5is discs and upgrade rear calipers to 325i/328i (they are the same 42mm piston calipers in the performance kit).
