For autocross (and for about 8 months on the street) have been running 245/35s on my stock sized front rims.

They rub ever so slightly on the struts under load (it just cleans the dirt off of them), a bit on the forward fender liner, and it does rub against the lower front control arm at lock.

Again, I've had NO issues with this setup beyond cosmetic rubbing. And this under heavy load at autocross and track conditions.

So, party on with the 225's.

By the way, in the 245's, I've run Hoosier R6's, Kumho XS's, and am currently trying out Federal 595RS-Rs. The Federals have been the widest of the bunch and they fit fine.
