I've had clear bras on my last 3 BMWs and none have yellowed. My x5 has had it on for 8 years now. It all depends on how much time it spends getting hit with UV rays, but many of the newer products now don't yellow.

Personally, if it turns yellow, I'll get a new one. Its primarily there to prevent rock chips and always my first mod when I get a new car.
