There is no substitute for seeing the car and getting all the detailed records which any reputable dealer and/or BMW (right off the key ) can find for you. You also can birth date the VIN and 1st sale date and the CPO will be 6 years from then, meaning probably a few years left, at least. Asking price for mileage is not crazy and cars like this have recently sold for $56K, or so, without the CPO. Good luck.
