First, the N54 has been in this country for a while now. You won't be waiting 4 weeks for a water pump. Most dealerships have loaners that they have for emergency service calls, and will rent a cheapo car for you if they are all taken.

Don't expect a loaner if you're getting your oil changed though. On days I go in for service, I prearrange to have them drive me to the train station, and pick me up at the end of my work day.

We may have to wait if you incur body damage to these cars, since the parts train might not be that well stocked for a new model that's fairly limited production quite yet.
