I was helping a 335 owner install my old v2 dpfix in his car and noticed that you can still bolt the filter on both ends. It should be secure and is very lightweight. Losing the end cover over the ECU would be a little disappointing. The other issue will be securing the wires held by the front of the cross bracket. I think I'll just ziptie these wires to the two brackets off the bottom of the filter and make this mod. Should save 9 lbs from the front which I can use. Seems goofy for so little weight gain but every little bit adds up.
