gas pedal click noise
So this isn't really a 1er specific problem, but hopefully there's a 1er specific solution...
So it seems in my experience that due to BMW's move to DBW, the electronic gas pedal makes a loud click when you're on the throttle even partway, and let off complete with no foot pressure on it. It seems that the noise is from the pedal letting off completely and hitting it's travel stop or something.
I'm wondering if any of you guys have figured out a way to dampen or mute this irritating noise? Perhaps a judicious application of foam tape somewhere?
It certainly makes double de-clutching a noisy and annoying affair...
