My clutch pedal does exactly this, and it took four visits to the dealer to solve the issue. First two visits, they replaced the small oil cylinder sitting behind the pedal, with no resolve. They now have ordered a new pedal mechanism and cylinder, abd will be replacing both.

The way most the dealerhips deal with obscure issues is a pain. They first diagnose, then realize they dont have the part in stock, so they look around other local dealershipsfor the part, and finally need to order the part from head office, and book another appointment with you to come back for the repair. Issues rarely get resolved the first time around.
