I am going to disagree with him after having removed these myself... Those clips apply the pressure needed to keep the bottom of the cover tight. They really aren't THAT bad to reinstall I have done it several times without issue you just have to be patient and focus on the bottom tabs going in before the rest of the cover. Best of luck!!
