2012 135i HPFP worries

So I have recently just hit 1200 miles (yesterday) on my fully stock 2012 135i DCT. This morning when I started the car up it took 2 seconds for the engine to crank over. I was a bit concerned at first since the engine cranks have always been less than a second in duration before today, but I then dismissed it as a one-off sort of thing.

However, during all 4 of my cold starts today, the engine cranks have all been in the 2-3 second range. This leads me to worry that my HPFP may be choking out on me.

As an added possibly relevant observation (this could just be my paranoid mind making things up), I noticed today that when I downshift, the throttle blip for the rev-matching doesn't sound or feel as strong or "beefy" as I am used to it sounding.

I haven't read about many N55 HPFP units going out. I may just have some bad luck.

Have any of you experienced the latter observation while an HPFP is on its way out? Should I set up an appointment with the dealer, or wait until the symptoms get worse? Any help is appreciated. Like all of you, I love my car and just want it to be healthy again Thanks!
