I don't get dents in the first place. Spending 30 extra seconds walking across a parking lot can save you a lot of pain/paint.

For the deer that decided to kamikaze into the side of my front left fender? You are damn right I had the insurance company pay for a brand new fender instead of popping the dent and blend the bumper/hood/fender/A pillar/door/rear fender properly.

Long enough time in the car community with friends who have had their cars for ages.
