I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago on one of those really cold days. I thought it was a vert-only problem. I had to drive a few miles with a lot of road noise (and fear for the stresses on my window) before it warmed up enough to do the 1/2-inch retraction and close.

I just got back from my vacation. I was on a cruise last week and got to swim with dolphins in Cozumel. And then I saw a (clean) black 1er in Kissimmee FL.
