N55 LPFP Failure - Updated
2011 135i N55 DCT - Build Date 04/10. 76K miles
Had the LPFP go out. Start up in the morning and when I tried to give it gas, the whole car would shudder. After about 4 miles of light driving, it finally threw a code. I was able to drive it 25 miles to the stealer.
They changed out the pressure unit and the filter. Part numbers 16147163298 and 16117163295. Says they drained the fuel tank as well.
Comments said: Worn fuel pump caused clogged fuel filter and low delivery pressure at times. DME fault 2C01 stored.
