Definitely looks like someone walked on your car. Footprint is what I see.
Insurance should cover it under a no-fault, comprehensive clause with no penalty to you. At least, that's what would happen here if that happened to my car.
I would get insurance involved ASAP, and maybe file a police report of vandalism.
