Interesting you just posted this. I just installed new tires on my 135i - 255/35/18 rear with 12mm spacers - and it is rubbing slightly over large dips in the road. I will go down to a 10mm and report back. So to answer your question, no. Additionally, my car is set up to factory alignment specs. You will gain a bit more room if you dial in negative camber in the rear.
