My car has been parked outside for 3 weeks now without an update call from the service center. I had to go in last week to find out what was up. Apparently the component that checks if there were any faults in the car is not coming up with any faults. I told them that's clearly the problem but they don't think so.
after that visit I I finalized all my info to my lemon lawyer and went ahead with them. Completely dissatisfied with how BMW has dealt with me and my car.
