Update:
Finally got her towed to stealership. Sure enough, bad battery but here is the kicker- not covered under warranty because "car sat idle too long" I was only away for a 9 day trip and car started and drove fine for 2 days after returning. I OKed the $400+ job but will fight with BMWNA for a refund. Dealer claimed they can not approve a goodwill at their level.
Talk about leaving a sour taste. I'll see how things go for now but I am leaning towards getting back into a honda or acura at this point; Possibly the FRS too but hesitate being the 1st model year of production....
