Thank you all for your comments and interest! We are big fans of the 1 series and will continue to support it going forward. With that said, demand for a wider 17" wheel in a high offset is quite limited and therefore is not on our current radar for production. We do have excellent 18" options that many customers do run.
If you are interested in running 17's on your 1 series, we recommend going with our 17x8.5" ET40 wheels all around. You can pair that with 235/40-17 or 245/40-17 tires to give you a nice square setup. This fitment would require some negative camber up front, and possibly a fender roll depending on your ride height and tire brand/compound.
