Yep. I was asked by the dealer if I wanted the front plates put on and I said no. Don't want to be drilling any holes in that beautiful front.
I've had the car since last October and the only time I got any hassle over the front plate was during a R.I.D.E. program coming off the highway. The officer asked me where the front plates were and I simply told him that I had just got the front bumper setup with 3M bra at the dealer and the dealer accidentally broke the license bracket and I was waiting for the new bracket to come in. I showed him my front plates sitting in the front passenger seat; all good
Other than that, the police hasn't stopped me at all. Definitely get a lot of looks but that's it.
