Should I bite the bullet, despite all their drawbacks? I mean they are new and the car stays OEM+ I'm far from a track user
Still no.

They offer no tangible benefits a more performance oriented set of street pads wouldn't offer aside from bling.

I did a quick search and I wouldn't know if a kit has all the parts

Thx
Wheel part number: 32 30 0 443 170

The whole kit is listed as one part number. I further tested this during the project by trying to input the numbers of the parts in the kit. They yielding nothing.

You need everything listed in the BMW install guide for it:

I know it says you need the two numbers, but everything is included in the previously mentioned wheel number and as I far as I know you can't order them separately. Just in case you want it though...

Parts kit as a whole:
32 30 0 445 258

Individually:
01 29 0 444 862 Operating instructions
61 12 0 444 598 Wiring harness
61 31 9 122 381 Coil spring cartridge
61 35 0 444 602 Control unit
01 29 0 444 861 Installation instructions
