At 46K... in the US.. the base price of the 1M is 10K cheaper than the E90 M3 Sedan, and 13K cheaper than the E92 M3 coupe. However, I agree, I personally was hoping that the price would be closer to 40K. However.. the 1M is significantly cheaper than the E46 M3 when it came out, and it has similar dimensions and better performance.
