Thanks guys! I had some block leave I had to take from work, which gave me the time to focus on detailing the car properly. I figured it was smart to tackle a full detail while I had the time and the weather was so perfect. It was fun.
I worked on my wife's MB CLK 320 today while she was traveling and I had use of the car. I spent 6.5 hours on the paint. It is a 2004 and she doesn't really obsess (unlike yours truly) over the appearance of her sled, so it was a bit rough. In fact, the wheels defied Grime Reaper, Sonax, and heavy scrubbing with a wheel brush and CG Citrus Wash and Gloss. I have no idea what to do about those. The paint looks about a billion times better, but is heavily scarred with road rash on the hood and front fascia; I need some touch-up paint. I will post pics and a full wrap-up after tomorrow's session on the interior, etc. Hopefully she'll notice
