Wheel Fitment
I am wanting to change the stock 17" x 7" x ET 47 mm wheels and 17" X 205 X 50 tires on my 2008 128 convertible with a square set up using 18" x 8" X ET 35 mm wheels and 18" x 225 x 40 tires. I have calculated that the new set-up will have +1 mm more of inner clearance (should be no problem) and be pushed out +25 mm relative to the stock set-up. Before ordering I would like to confirm that there will not be any conflicts with suspension/brakes and I don't want the wheels sitting outside the fenders. I would appreciate any comments with respect to this matter from anyone in the know.
