That looks like a cargo barrier, not to be confused with a cargo net.
Cargo net is suppose to keep your luggage from sliding around in the boot, cargo barrier on the other hand is there to prevent items from entering passenger compartment (say under hard braking).
That particular net clips in behind front seats I think.
