i will say that initially i saw a lot of posts about HPFP failure etc, and saw several friends run into trouble. i had my pump replaced once...last year IIRC. but recently, i've seen/heard a lot less about the whole issue. maybe people just aren't posting about it, but i'm inclined/hopeful to think that the most recent version of the HPFP is actually better
i think if you have the car gone through by someone who really knows their stuff, it'd be worth it. i can recommend someone...are you actually in boston or outside the city?
the price seems about right, especially given a second set of wheels.
was the car a lease or was it owned? I'm always apprehensive of buying previously leased cars. i just don't think people are as careful with a car they know they're only going to have for 2 years
