Patching a tire is easy. The hardest part is finding the hole.
You take a reamer tool, and clean the hole out. Then you take the tool that looks like a big needle, stick the plug halfway through it, fold in half, jam into the hole 3/4 of the way, pull the needle out, and cut off the excess. Pump up tire, and go. You can get a good vulcanizing tire patch kit, including tools, for $10.
