50/50 distribution while in motion is a good thing for balance and maintaining evenly distributed load on the tires and thus more grip. The more weight on the tire, the more heat will be put into it and thus it will lose grip faster. If all four tires are sharing the load equally it will improve grip overall versus if one corner or side is doing the majority of the work. For example, all a sway bar is doing is helping distribute the cornering forces over the tires more equally than if there was no sway thus increasing grip. I wouldn't alter the distribution just for balance though. You can tweak your alignment and other suspension settings to adjust the cars behavior first. I run a square tire setup and a custom alignment to my specs to get the behavior I am looking for.
