Ok here is a bump to an old question.
My car has been in the US for nearly a year, warranty validated, its even been in for service (15k service) at a certified BMW dealership. Still the website says "We're sorry but the vehicle you are trying to register is not available at this time."
I've been trying, I don't understand.
