Sorry if you misunderstood, sometimes diffiicult to explain without a picture! That's why I put hole in " " . What I meant was the lining as seen from inside the car was not fully retracted thereby creating a gap. Imagine the zip portion on a tent. Pull it all the way down and the opening is closed. Pull it halfway down and you create a gap at the bottom - which is what I meant by "hole". Sorry for confusion.
