I think the best bet would be to take a molding of the existing switch and then use some sort of plastic to build up a larger switch around the existing one (if that makes any sense).
I also think it would be cool if the + and - were back lit.

Actually I've hear of people removing the DCT paddles and placing aftermarket paddles on the DCT switching mechanism.
