Were you using a clutch stop?
I'm only at 7K miles, and haven't had issues yet, but my father (mechanic) warned me about using too aggressive a setting on the clutch stop. It honestly feels as if nothing is spinning or touching along the drivetrain when I have the clutch pushed in, but I have little to no deadspace, which is what I like. However, my dad mentioned about certain parts wearing out early if the pedal isn't pushed in enough.
