I would personally like the see the rear flare even a bit more boxy. Having the horizontal part of the flare up top follow the body line a bit more I think might help here.
I think doing that would make it look a bit more old school like the horizontal rear flare on the E30 M3 or Audi Quattro or other cars like that.
